Goblin Guild: Kids D&D
Embark on a collaborative Dungeons and Dragons quest designed for young adventurers. The Goblin Guild is an ongoing campaign where players shape the storyline through their choices, guided by a Dungeon Master who keeps the action moving while the group decides where the tale goes next. It welcomes all experience levels and is open to ages 14 and under. Participants are encouraged to return from week to week to follow the continuing narrative, but dropping in is also an option. To ensure everyone has time to contribute, each session is capped at 7 players. The entry fee is $15.
Riftbound: League of Legends TCG Tournament
Riftbound TCG Nexus Nights at Cape Fear Games invites players to bring a favorite constructed deck and battle through a capped three round Swiss event. The entry fee is $8. Every participant receives a Nexus Night Pack. For prizes, $8 per player goes into the pool and is paid out to winning records. Any player who finishes undefeated, X-0, also earns one pack from the most recent Standard set. Only sets that have had a prerelease are considered Standard. Newcomers and seasoned competitors alike can test strategies, face off across three rounds, and see where Champions rise and legends take shape on The Rift.
MTG Tuesday Draft Tournament
Draft packs from the most recent Standard legal Magic: The Gathering set, build a ready-to-play deck, and compete in a constructed event run as three Swiss rounds. Entry is $20. Prizes go to players who finish undefeated or with a single loss, and each pod contributes 1.5 Play Boosters per participant to the prize pool. Winners also receive pins that can be exchanged for additional rewards. Entry may be purchased in store.
Trivia Tuesday at Local's Tavern!
Test your knowledge with a friendly trivia night hosted by Sherri at Local’s Tavern. Team up with friends, tackle a playful mix of questions, share some laughs, and enjoy food and drinks as you compete for prizes. Aim for the right to boast when your team comes out on top. This long-running tradition has been entertaining participants since 2018.
