Enjoy a friendly trivia competition on the Lakeview Terrace. Space is limited, and teams can include up to ten people. Solo participants are welcome and can be matched with others in a super singles group. The Legends offers its regular menu along with full bar service. This event is open to the public.

Build a solid foundation in illustration while learning to render plants in graphite. This studio class focuses on drawing botanical subjects such as vegetables, fruits, or flowers directly from life and shows how to layer values to create convincing three-dimensional form. Step-by-step instruction supports both beginners and experienced artists, helping refine observational skills and improve drawing technique. Enrollment is limited to between four and seven students, and participants must be 18 or older. Please bring a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil or well sharpened 2H, HB, and 2B pencils, a 4B graphite pencil, a kneaded eraser, a white eraser, low tack tape, tracing paper, and smooth drawing paper such as Strathmore 400. A portable lamp with an extension cord and a cardboard box large enough to hold a flower vase are also required. Enter through the gallery’s front door and proceed downstairs. Blues Underground returns to Barley’s Taproom & Pizzeria in Spindale with a live set. Enjoy pizza or calzones and choose from a broad selection of local craft beers while the band performs.

C&C Rutherfordton hosts a night meet in downtown Rutherfordton, set in the Tom’s and Court’s Street parking lot across from the USPS building. Admission is free to encourage time spent downtown, and the lot is within the Mint District with its nearby offerings. This gathering is separate from the morning Cars and Coffee events. Cold brew sponsors include BAMM LLC, Lail Automotive, Thunder Road Animal Hospital, Venova Productions, Venova Detailing, and Advance Auto Parts of Rutherfordton. Merchandise will be available for purchase, and local noise guidelines apply so the parking area will be cleared accordingly.

FENCE hosts a Fall Open Horse Show welcoming experienced show riders as well as those new to the ring. The show features High Point divisions with awards, and ribbons are presented through sixth place. Pre-registration is $12 per class and day-of registration is $15 per class, with pre-registration opening soon. Stalls and RV hookups will be available. The event takes place at the FENCE Equestrian Grounds.

She performs regionally with her band, The Tooleshed, offering a mix that spans timeless favorites and her personal songwriting.
