Sarge’s Downtown Dog Walk returns for its 21st year at the historic Haywood County Courthouse in downtown Waynesville. This community fundraiser supports Sarge’s efforts to provide care, resources, and support for animals as they await adoption. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under, and each purchase includes admission and the official 2026 Downtown Dog Walk shirt. Tickets are available through Sarge’s website. This year’s shirt features artwork by Matt Perusi of Bones N’ All and production by Bear Creek Supply, highlighting the local collaboration that helps bring the event to life.

Second Saturday Stitchers marks its two-year milestone with a birthday and anniversary celebration featuring cross stitch, snacks, a brag table, a freebie table, goody bags, and door prizes. First-time visitors may find the room a little tricky to locate, and questions are welcome ahead of time.

Country singer-songwriter Kristen Toole, hailing from North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, appears with her band The Tooleshed for a regional performance. The show features country classics, '90s country, modern country, and her own original songs.
