Taste of Crookston returns as an official part of Ox Cart Days 2026, bringing even more flavor, fun, and community spirit to a new venue. The festivities take place in the ballroom at Scobey’s Pub & Grub and Events & Weddings by Laura Lee, with live music setting the tone for a friendly tasting competition featuring local fare. Prizes go to the top entries, and the crowd helps choose favorites with a People’s Choice vote. Participation is open beyond restaurants, welcoming businesses, churches, nonprofits, clubs, and other community organizations to present their best bite and compete for bragging rights. Volunteer servers will be available for participants who need extra help. Sponsored by United Valley Bank, this gathering is set to be a highlight of the Ox Cart Days celebration.

Tae & The Neighborly bring a soul-pop R&B sound to the Museum’s Sculpture Garden. The Wisconsin group formed in an unusual way, as neighbors living on separate floors of the same five-story building. Reviewers highlight a live show that bursts with energy yet goes down easy, and their songs lean into self love, positive change, and thoughtful connection. Attendees can bring a blanket or folding chair for comfortable lawn seating. Fresh grilled meals from the Museum Cafe will be available, along with root beer floats as well as beer and wine. The series features opening acts ahead of the headliner. Tickets are $20 for individuals and $15 for members. A $75 season pass includes five flexible tickets that can be used for any concert in the series, and admission is free for children ages 12 and under.
