This weekend in Barnstead, NH

Set on Capitol Street in downtown Concord, New Hampshire, this farmers market showcases in-season fruits and vegetables, pasture-raised meats, freshly baked breads, handcrafted soaps and lotions, artisanal gifts, and fresh flowers, all created by New Hampshire farmers and makers. Visitors can browse the stalls, talk with the people who produce their food, and support local businesses in a lively community atmosphere.

This community litter collection walk begins on Four Rod Road. Parking is available at Baxter's Lake Boat Ramp. After the cleanup, participants return to the starting point with the collected litter for a group photo. Bags are provided, and some litter grabber tools and safety vests are available to borrow during the event. Those who want to wear gloves should bring their own.

Enjoy free to play tabletop roleplaying with a mix of Dungeons and Dragons and other systems. Most weeks include two to three D&D Adventurers League tables, plus an additional table featuring a non D&D game. Registration is handled through the D&D Adventurers League Facebook group, and seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis, with GM volunteers seated first. American Legion Merrill Follansbee Riders Chapter 37 hosts a community poker run open to motorcycles and cars. Participants can ride solo or form a team. The first poker hand is $20, with additional hands available for $10 each. The ride begins and ends at the same location. A 50/50 drawing and other raffles are planned. All proceeds benefit the Tilton Veterans Home Sunshine Fund, supporting those who have served. Families, friends, riders, and classic car enthusiasts are welcome to take part in a day of camaraderie and giving back.

This private paintball game is for women only and is set up for a full day of play and perks. Each participant pays $39.95, which includes admission, a rental package, 500 paintballs, and a complimentary drink in The Bunker. Gameplay follows a 5.5 bps cap for both mechanical and electronic markers. The Bunker also offers ladies' night specials to enjoy. A raffle will take place during the final Ladies' Day in September, and attending more events and bringing friends increases the chances of winning.

Part of a Summer of Music series bringing more than 30 concerts to locations around Concord, this White Park performance features New Hampshire singer songwriter Lucas Gallo. With an acoustic focus and a love of language, his songs weave elements of folk, jam, pop, and rock into memorable, lyric-driven music. His live background ranges from intimate bars and breweries to festival fields and larger stages. Weather-related updates will be posted on the organizer’s Facebook page, and concerts will be rescheduled when possible.

Kevin and Colleen of Turnsoul return for this week’s Roundup with a genre-blending set that threads rock, R&B, pop, reggae, funk, blues fusion, and hints of classical. The result is an original, upbeat, forward-leaning sound rooted in the spirit of classic jam bands.
