Five musicians from the Boston area carefully reproduce the band’s arrangements with precision and energy, aiming to carry listeners back to an era when LPs spun and new wave filled concert halls. These songs still feel as vibrant today as when they first arrived. The group features Gary Agresti, Darren Muise, Darin Ames, Jeff Ares, and Ken Marchione. The Cars originated in Boston in 1976 with Ric Ocasek, Benjamin Orr, Elliot Easton, Greg Hawkes, and David Robinson, emerging from the late 1970s new wave scene. They were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018, and their influence continues to resonate across generations.
