American History in Music with the Garden State Trombone Quartet

Celebration Sounds Music Studio presents a sweeping musical tour of American history, tracing sounds from the Revolutionary War through the 1980s. The program features national touchstones like The Star-Spangled Banner and Shenandoah, spirituals from the Civil War, stirring Sousa marches, favorites from both World Wars, and landmark songs connected to the Vietnam era and beyond. Every piece is selected to mirror the time in which it was created, carrying the voices, challenges, and hopes of the people who lived it. Listeners are invited to follow the nation’s evolving identity through melody and rhythm, as the concert honors the past, connects generations, and sparks pride in the American story.
