Morristown Game Vault, 22 South St, Morristown · verified Oct 11
    See details

At Morristown Game Vault, this pinball tournament features group match play across two banks that pair an older machine from the 80s or earlier with a newer title from the 90s or later. Entry is $25 in total, covering $20 venue admission, $4 for the prize pool, and $1 for IFPA fees, and that payment secures a spot on the list. The competition runs a minimum of four rounds, using 7/5/3/1 scoring for four-player groups and 7/4/1 for three-player groups. After qualifying, finals advance to the top eight with 16 or more players, or to the top four with 15 or fewer, and are played using traditional PAPA scoring of 4, 2, 1, 0. The top seed in each group chooses either the game or the playing position. Players may opt out of IFPA fees and result submissions by notifying the tournament director for a one dollar refund. The tournament director will also donate an amount equal to the total number of players to Garden State Equality. Formats may be adjusted at the director’s discretion, with any updates announced before the start of the tournament or finals.
