Extreme Summer Dance Camp
This summer dance camp invites young dancers to explore movement in a fun, supportive setting. Tots enjoy a two-hour morning session spread over three days, filled with dance-based activities, crafts, choreography, and more. Older students can dive into a condensed, summer-friendly lineup of the regular DSE classes offered in the afternoons and evenings. The final schedule depends on enrollment, and if at least five participants are registered at each skill level in the 5+ years division, classes may be split by level and extended. Pre-registration with a deposit is required, and a payment link is provided with the registration form. After registering, participants are added to a WhatsApp announcement group for camp updates. With support from area businesses, volunteers, and community members, 600 backpacks stocked with school supplies will be given out. Families can also find complimentary food and drinks, a limited number of free haircuts, and information on community resources. To receive a backpack, a child must be present, distribution is limited to one per student, it is open to students from pre-K through high school, and items are available until supplies run out. Kids Night Out: Dinner, A Movie & Pottery Painting! Drop-Off Event--Parents enjoy the night
A drop-off evening designed for kids to relax, get creative, and spend time with friends. Children can paint pottery and watch a movie they choose from the Disney Channel, all with attentive supervision. Two ticket options are available. Kids Night Out + Dinner is $17 and includes two slices of pizza, one drink plus water, a sweet treat, popcorn, and painting time with supervision. Kids Night Out without dinner is $13 and includes a drink with water, popcorn, and painting time with supervision. The ceramic piece is not part of the ticket price, and parents approve and pay for the selected item at drop-off. To celebrate six years, there is a 6 percent discount on pottery. The evening typically begins with hand washing and choosing a ceramic piece, then dinner for those with the dinner ticket and painting time, followed by a movie, and ends with signing finished artwork before cleanup and pick-up.
