Dirk K's Lockout Station presents a live performance that fuses flamenco colors, jazz-fusion energy, and avant-garde exploration. Original compositions by Dirk K spark bold, refined improvisations, with intricate harmonies, challenging grooves, and winding themes that conjure otherworldly moods. The music at times leans into atonal shades and complex rhythms, balancing a restless, high-art sensibility with catchy, offbeat appeal. Formed in Las Vegas in 2015, the trio brings together Dirk K of Aachen, Germany, Dave Ostrem of New York, and Andrea D'Angelo of Rome, blending their distinct voices into a vibrant sound that is lush in harmony and melody, emotionally rich, and unmistakably singular.
