The Torah in the Tarot: A Day of Learning Workshop with Stav Appel

Artist Stav Appel leads a hands-on, ticketed workshop that uncovers the symbolism woven through tarot, favoring archetype, story, reflection, and meaning over fortune telling. Participants will study the 22 Major Arcana of the Noblet Tarot de Marseille, with guided discussion of Judaic references and the historical background that informs them. The program invites thoughtful, layered interpretation and considers how enduring systems of belief and knowledge influence visual culture in subtle and profound ways. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 with an Arts Access Pass, and free for students. Space is limited, and light refreshments will be available.

Agility Foundations

Beginner handlers team up with their dogs to build foundational agility skills. Instruction emphasizes body awareness, coordination, strength and focus, along with safety, basic handling and correct execution of each obstacle. The format encourages clear communication between handler and dog while keeping the experience enjoyable. Completion of an Intro to Agility course or a Basic Obedience class is required beforehand.
