Set outdoors at the pavilion in Steamboat Landing, this open air market brings back favorite stalls each week. Spend time with friends while browsing agriculture, art, and food produced, crafted, and prepared within 30 miles of the member built pavilion.

Use your knack for reading difficult cursive to help transcribe the 1920 census for the HistoryForge database. This project combines historic maps and photographs with census records from Cortland County to create a way to visualize the community’s history in the early 1900s. Newcomers will receive guidance to get started. Please bring a laptop or tablet device.

Hairy Canary Crafts participates alongside many other vendors at this third annual fall craft show. Shoppers can explore offerings from more than 25 local vendors, with possibilities for yourself, your home, or a gift. Admission is free. In partnership with the local food bank, anyone who brings three nonperishable items to donate will receive a free signature candle as a thank you for supporting the community. There will be giveaways, music, and food and drinks available while you browse and mingle. The event highlights local artists and crafters and celebrates the creativity of Cortland County.

This monthly listening club explores two jazz albums at a time, pairing a well known release with a lesser known pick. Participants reflect on what they heard in a variety of ways, whether by sharing poems or artwork created while listening, presenting research on the musicians, or explaining why a particular track resonated. The current discussion centers on First Light by Freddie Hubbard and Native Dancer by Wayne Shorter. The session concludes by selecting the next two records to explore. This free Disney Lorcana league focuses on casual Core Constructed play. Rounds are played as best of three. Bring a ready-to-play starter deck or build your own with at least 60 cards, up to two inks, no proxies, and no more than four copies of any card sharing the exact name. Players may switch decks between rounds. Promo support is available while supplies last. Every participant receives a participation promo card while supplies last, and there will be random drawings for a Lorcana pin and for additional promo cards, also while supplies last. Each player will need a 60 card deck. Starter decks are preconstructed with a specific card list and can be a straightforward way for new players to get started.

At the Cayuga ReUse Center, the Ithaca Fixers Collective hosts a community repair meetup that welcomes people with items to mend, those who want to lend a hand, and anyone interested in learning repair skills. The focus is on giving everyday belongings a longer life, from electronics and furniture to small appliances, through shared knowledge, collaborative troubleshooting, and a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

Walk to Remember is a community walk at the Dryden High School track to pay tribute to more than 900 people. Participants walk together to honor their memories.

Jason Wicks and his band perform live at a fundraising pig roast in support of disabled veterans. Live music pairs with food from the roast, all in support of the cause. The event takes place at Disabled Vets of Cortland County.
