    Dames At Sea

Lockport · Taylor Theatre, 433 Locust St

Dames at Sea splashes onto the stage with a buoyant send-up of the Golden Age of Broadway and classic movie musicals. With book and lyrics by George Haimsohn and Robin Miller and music by Jim Wise, this tap-filled comedy follows a wide-eyed newcomer who collides with a charming sailor and a gallery of larger-than-life characters. Expect a power-hungry director, a rule-bound captain, a scene-stealing diva, and a chorus girl with Mae West swagger. Add crisscrossed romances, a battleship twist, and plenty of dancing, and you get a swift cascade of humor and musical sparkle. Presented through an arrangement with Concord Theatricals.

    Romeo Delight

North Tonawanda · Riviera Theatre, 67 Webster St

Romeo Delight brings Van Halen’s legacy to the stage with a high-energy tribute from a team of seasoned players. Hailing from Philadelphia, the band is known for performing complete Van Halen albums start to finish, keeping the original song order intact, and authentically capturing the sound, look, and vibe with thoughtfully recreated staging, instruments, and wardrobe. The performance centers on the David Lee Roth years while also featuring Sammy Hagar-era favorites and notable solo hits connected to the band’s members. Their work has drawn attention from Howard Stern and Micky Dolenz, and David Lee Roth showcased one of their videos on The Roth Show, with multiple spotlights on Van Halen’s news site. Accolades include being the East Coast’s most-watched Van Halen tribute on YouTube, recognition from Mashable as a top tribute act, and praise in the Van Halen book Unchained for standout vocals. Romeo Delight has also served as the backing band for Micky Dolenz of the Monkees at several events.

Geoff Tate's Operation: Mindcrime - The Final Chapter

North Tonawanda · West Herr Riviera Theatre, 67 Webster St

At West Herr Riviera Theatre, multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated vocalist and songwriter Geoff Tate brings the final chapter of Operation: Mindcrime to the stage, performing the 1988 concept album from beginning to end. Best known for more than three decades leading Queensryche, he and the band sold over 20 million albums worldwide and toured in more than fifty countries, with Tate widely recognized as a standout voice in progressive metal and cited by hundreds of modern artists. The original Operation: Mindcrime drew critical and popular praise and was often compared to rock epics like the Who's Tommy and Pink Floyd's The Wall. Its success helped set up the follow-up Empire, a Billboard Top Ten release that surpassed three million in sales and featured the hit Silent Lucidity, later performed at the Grammy Awards with orchestral backing. Supported by the current lineup of Operation: Mindcrime, this concert centers on the landmark album in full and honors a lasting legacy in progressive rock and metal.
