Now in its 115th year, the Feast of the Assumption brings free admission to St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School in Westbury. The celebration features live music, plenty of food and beverages, and family friendly entertainment with rides and games. Enjoy homemade Italian dishes from the Dell’Assunta Kitchen and a performance by Revelators Rock Band. Competitive highlights include a homemade wine contest with cash awards and a dessert baking competition offering cash prizes.

This free, peer-to-peer breastfeeding support group offers encouragement and resources in an informal setting, facilitated by a certified lactation consultant. New mothers are welcome no matter where they delivered. Participants are encouraged to bring their babies from newborn to 1 year. The group meets at Mercy Family Care Center, adjacent to the Emergency Department.
