Set out on a two-hour literary cruise from Port Washington that traces the shoreline and stories behind The Great Gatsby. Glide across Manhasset Bay and into Long Island Sound to see the real-life counterparts of East Egg and West Egg and the waterside settings that shaped F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic. Along the route, learn about the history and significance of each landmark, get a close look at Execution Light, and take in grand estates where mansions once stood and many still stand. Beverages and snacks are available on board. The tour is narrated by Kevin C. Fitzpatrick, an award-winning author and member of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Society, and is operated by Angler Fleet, the sole provider of this experience on the bay. Departures are punctual and leave from the town dock in Port Washington. Free parking is available, and the dock is an easy walk from the Port Washington LIRR station. Group charters are also offered.

Fitzpatrick, an award winning author and member of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Society. This experience is operated by Angler Fleet, the only boats in the bay offering this tour. Tours begin promptly and depart from the North Hempstead Town Dock beside Sunset Park. Beverages and snacks are available on board.
