TNP - Tuesday Night Paddles
TNP Tuesday Night Paddles offers a structured fitness session on the water led by Marshall Seddon, owner of The River Connection and an avid kayak racer. Designed as preparation and training for the 2026 race season, it also includes discussion of upcoming competitions for paddlers considering a challenge. The program is best suited to surfskis, though kayaks 14 feet and longer can also work. Arrive early so you are ready to launch promptly. The opening segment focuses on technique and warmup, from fine tuning the forward stroke to limbering up with yoga. On the water, expect interval work that varies with conditions and participant level. If you do not have a race kayak, arrangements can be made in advance with Marshall, as up to three additional surfskis with wing paddles can be brought to the lake for the program. The rental fee is $50 per kit.
