The AcademyHandbuilt Ceramic Travel Tumblers
Explore handbuilding as you create a ceramic travel tumbler with a functional attached lid in a single-session workshop led by instructor Alexis Babian. Using slab construction, you will shape and refine your form, add surface decoration, and choose either a studio glaze or decorative underglaze painting to personalize the finish. The class welcomes beginners as well as experienced makers, and no prior ceramics background is needed. All materials are provided, including clay, glaze, and firing. Finished pieces will be fired and ready for pickup about three weeks after the workshop.
