Yoga for Posture & Spinal Health
Discover practical ways to care for your spine and posture in a focused two hour workshop with Jael Polnac. Centered on the common concern of preventing height loss with age, the session highlights how spinal health supports height, brain function, flexibility, balance, and overall wellbeing. It opens with a guided conversation about protecting the spine over time, then transitions into a carefully sequenced practice that blends gentle yin poses for connective tissues, active strengthening to support spinal bones, and restorative work to soothe the nervous system and nourish softer tissues. The program flows through four parts—discussion, yin, active movement, and restorative practice—with clear guidance on the purpose and benefits of each pose so participants can continue these techniques with confidence. Suitable for all experience levels, it is designed for anyone who wants to maintain a healthy spine, improve posture, and move with greater ease and comfort. Registration is $50 per person. Jael brings over 20 years of practice and has taught since 2016, with extensive training in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Bone Health, and posture-centered methods, along with ongoing study of yoga’s therapeutic applications, mindfulness, and philosophy. Known for a calm, supportive approach, she creates thoughtful classes that help students build strength, increase mobility, and feel more at ease in their bodies.

Saratoga Race CourseSmall Dog Sundays
Small Dog Sundays at Chow Bella set aside a dedicated play session just for pups 25 pounds and under. During this time the big dogs take a break, giving the little ones space to romp, zoom, and make friends their own size in a safe, confidence-building setting. It is also a chance for dog parents to relax and chat with others while their companions burn off energy. After the session, larger dogs are welcome back in the park. Entry is free with a park membership or available with a $15 day pass. First-time visitors should bring vaccination records, and a brief meet and greet temperament check helps ensure everyone plays well together.
