Superelectric Pinball Parlor is hosting the second season of a family-friendly pinball league designed for players of every experience level. The season runs for six weeks of group match play, with five rounds per session. Groups and machines are randomly assigned by the league’s software, and each game is scored 5 points for first, 3 for second, 2 for third, and 1 for fourth. Points add up across the season, but only your best four weeks count toward the final standings, so you can miss up to two weeks without penalty. Matches are managed through a website, so there is nothing to download. It costs $10 to join the league, with an $8 all-day play option for machines, and a $25 play pass available for a family of four. After the regular season, playoffs are held across three skill divisions labeled A, B, and C, with eight players qualifying in each. The finals use a two-round, PAPA style group elimination format. Each round consists of three games scored 4 points for first, 2 for second, 1 for third, and 0 for fourth, and the top two players from each semifinal group advance to the final. Prizes are awarded to the top four competitors in every division.
