As the new school year approaches, the Pleasant Valley Elementary PTA is hosting a friendly playground meetup to reconnect after summer and welcome newcomers. The 12th anniversary edition of the Bike Cleveland Fundo, p/b Knabe Law Firm, invites riders to experience Cleveland and its neighboring communities by bike. Built for all ages and skill levels, this community ride showcases the city’s expanding network of roads and trails. Clearly marked routes of 10, 30, and 60 miles make navigation straightforward, and on-course support is available for mechanical issues or unexpected needs. The family-focused 10-mile option includes a snack at check-in to take along, while the 30 and 60-mile routes feature rest stops for refueling. Every route starts and finishes at the Cleveland Metroparks Beach House on the Lake Erie shoreline. After finishing, lunch can be purchased from food trucks on site, or from the Beach House concession window. Proceeds support Bike Cleveland and their work on behalf of cyclists throughout the Cleveland area.

The Ukrainian Village Committee presents the annual Ukrainian Independence Day Parade in Parma’s Ukrainian Village. The procession begins on Grantwood Drive, continues north along State Road, and concludes at Ukrainian Heritage Park across from St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral. It is a warm community celebration of Ukrainian heritage along a central neighborhood route.
