Free events in Corvallis, OR

This free hybrid class at the Shonnard's Nursery Classroom focuses on helping honey bee colonies make it through winter. Participants learn what bees do during the cold months, including periods without brood, clustering for warmth, and cleansing flights. The instructor also covers practical hive management to limit winter stress, such as removing syrup at the right time, recognizing when solid feed is appropriate, and improving ventilation to reduce moisture. Led by Camille Dill. Available in person or via Zoom with registration offered through the events page.

Families and sangha members are invited to a relaxed picnic at the Rotary Shelter in Willamette Park. Expect games and activities for children. Food and drinks will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring a potluck dish to share if they wish. The Rotary Shelter sits next to the children’s playground, at the first picnic area on the right after entering the park.

Royal Bar & Grill hosts a live trivia night every Wednesday. Participation is free, and prizes are awarded to the top teams.

Music Bingo brings a lively game night to The Plaza in downtown Corvallis. Admission is free and the vibe is loud, with sing-alongs, playful dance moves, and prizes up for grabs. Expect at least one fiercely focused player, plenty of laughs, and a party atmosphere where friends can enjoy food and drinks while the playlist drives the action.
