With guided practice and supportive instruction, participants learn how to step in during an emergency until professional help arrives, all in a calm environment without tests or pressure. The session covers CPR techniques for babies and young children, ways to recognize and handle choking in infants and children, and plenty of hands on practice with instructor feedback. After the class, each attendee receives a take home eBook by email to reinforce learning at home. This interactive workshop is held inside the Corvallis Birth Center. The cost is $30 per person, it is HSA and FSA eligible, and it runs for one hour. It is not a certification course, so there is no test and no certification provided. Attendance is limited to support personalized guidance and meaningful practice.
