Bowling for Bowser 2026

A family friendly bowling fundraiser supporting animals at Rogue Valley Humane Society takes place at Caveman Bowl. Tickets cost $25 per person and include shoe rental, two games, and snacks. Fundraising will also include a 50/50 raffle and basket raffles. Teams can register by paying the entry fee at Rogue Valley Humane Society or Caveman Bowl.

Dragonfly Sunset Paint Party

Enjoy a relaxed painting session at Grants Pass Eagles Lodge focused on a dragonfly at sunset. Tickets are $45 each or $80 for two. An instructor will guide the group step by step, making it suitable for beginners and experienced painters. Acrylic paints will be used, and all supplies are provided. The Marcy Anne Kightlinger One-Act Play Festival

5 Stand

Experience a condensed version of sporting clays. Participants will shoot from five fixed stations, also known as cages. Targets launch from six to eight machines, featuring a variety of angles, speeds, and elevations. Each station provides a unique combination of targets, ensuring a diverse and engaging challenge. A round consists of 25 targets and welcomes shooters of all skill levels. This activity offers the same variety of target presentations as a full sporting clays course but in a shorter timeframe.

Rogue Valley Symphony Masterworks 5: Gleaming Glow

Youth Archery

This archery event may include target archery, 3D archery, field archery, or open shooting. Most clubs welcome compound, recurve, and traditional bows unless a specific discipline is noted. You may encounter target archery with fixed distances at paper or electronic targets. Also possible is 3D archery, a walk-through course with life-size foam animal targets, and field archery, a roving course with marked or unmarked distances. Participants should bring a bow (compound, recurve, or traditional per event rules), arrows (6-12 minimum for most events), release aid, arm guard, finger tab as needed, and binoculars or spotting scope for longer distances. Greeters

Hosted by Property Management Group of Oregon, this Greeters gathering combines a structured agenda with opportunities to connect. At check in, Chamber Ambassadors collect a one dollar contribution and a business card, and coffee with light refreshments is available. The program begins with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a five minute spotlight for the host to share about their business or organization. The MCs then review the guidelines and draw business cards for quick introductions, giving each selected attendee 30 seconds to talk about their business. The focus is on approachable social styles such as swing, country swing, and related dances so you can feel comfortable on a dance floor or even at home. It is a welcoming starting point that can also prepare you to study a specific style later. Expect a relaxed pace and straightforward instruction. Wear lightweight, comfortable shoes. First Friday Salsa

Salsa and Bachata dancing fill the back patio at Nelly’s Cuban Café. First Friday Kids Dance Party

Kids can be dropped off at Southern Oregon Dance Center for a three hour celebration featuring dancing, karaoke, games, face painting, and food, with the Advanced Production Dancers joining the fun. Tray Wellington Duo

Banjo trailblazer Tray Wellington brings a high-energy mix of bluegrass, jazz, funk, and modern roots to The Hivve in a duo set with fiddler and singer Ella Jordan. Wellington, a recipient of the Steve Martin Banjo Prize and the International Bluegrass Music Association Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year, is known for a forward-looking approach to the banjo. Jordan adds expressive fiddle and vocals shaped by country, bluegrass, and contemporary stringband music, with honors that include the FreshGrass Fiddle Award and early graduation from Berklee. Together they deliver an intimate live performance that highlights musical range and interplay. General admission is first come, first served. Advance tickets are $20 plus fees and increase to $25 on the day of the show. Attendees must be at least 21 with valid ID. All sales are final and non-refundable, though tickets may be transferred. Seating is limited. One dollar from each pre-sale ticket is donated to Main Street Grants Pass. Fleetwood Mask

At Rogue Theatre, Fleetwood Mask honors the legacy of Fleetwood Mac with a concert built on authenticity. The group is the sole tribute act in the Americas endorsed by founding member Mick Fleetwood, who has publicly praised their dedication to keeping the music in trusted hands. Formed more than a decade ago, they have toured the United States every year, drawing audiences across generations with faithful sound, character-true musicianship, and carefully crafted stage performance. Every detail is considered. Performers use period-correct instruments and tailored wardrobe, and at many shows the band brings original touring gear and instruments previously used by Fleetwood Mac in concert. The group’s penguin logo was created by Larry Vigon, the artist behind album covers for Fleetwood Mac’s White Album, Rumours, Tusk, Fleetwood Mac Live, Mirage, and 25 Years The Chain, as well as solo releases by Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood, and Lindsey Buckingham. Setlists span signature hits, fan favorites, and deep cuts. Some productions focus on specific eras with tributes to the 1980 Tusk tour, the 1982 Mirage tour, and the 1997 Dance reunion tour.

Spring Cleanup Event

Caveman 4-Wheelers is partnering with local groups for a community effort to tidy up nearby mountain roads and trails. Volunteers will meet at the old Burger King parking lot on the north side of Grants Pass. Pickups and trailers are helpful but not required. Bring work gloves, wear appropriate outdoor clothing, and pack lunch and drinks. Trash bags and some tools will be provided, and extra shovels, rakes, or grabbers are appreciated. Sponsorships and donations will help cover dump fees for the collected debris. Questions are welcome.

Yoga of 12 Step Recovery

Designed as a holistic approach to recovery, this group brings together the practical tools of 12-step work and the restorative practices of yoga to support healing of body, mind, and spirit. It welcomes anyone navigating their own addictive behaviors as well as those affected by the addiction of others. Participants begin with a facilitated, 12-step based discussion, then move into an intentional, breath-guided yoga practice that acknowledges how life’s challenges can be carried in the body and encourages release. The experience also invites each person to connect with a higher power of their own understanding. This is a donation-based class with a suggested contribution of $10.

3rd Annual On a Sunday Afternoon Parking Lot Jam 2026

Now in its third year, this parking lot jam at Lupita’s Taqueria, presented by Lithia/Driveway, brings together music, food, vendors, beautiful cars, and a hop contest offering a cash prize. Guests can capture the day with complimentary photo booth pictures courtesy of Lithia/Driveway. Participation is limited to lowrider vehicles and bikes only. At Josephine County Fairgrounds, May Day is Lei Day returns to the Rogue Valley, honoring a century-old tradition and the iconic Hawaiian lei. The event features Hawaiian music, live performances, and hula dancing, along with a silent auction. Hands-on workshops welcome all ages to learn lei making, ukulele, and hula.

Versatility Clinic

At Performance Horse Arena, this two day clinic focuses on trail work, a simple reining pattern used at ranch shows, and cattle handling. Each day Tom works with riders and their horses on a real trail course, breaking obstacles into sections so everyone has time to practice and build solid horsemanship on the trail. The cattle segment teaches how to use the horse’s whole body to move a cow and how to read cattle, including when to push and when to release pressure. Riders also complete a straightforward reining pattern with coaching aimed at improving responsiveness, communication, and partnership. If time allows, rope handling and management are included. The clinic includes a lunch break. Cost is 500.00 for the two day clinic per horse and rider, with a 100.00 deposit to reserve a spot. Enrollment is limited to 8 to 10 participants. Asante Walk for Hope - Grants Pass 2026

The inaugural Walk for Hope in Grants Pass brings the community together at the Helen K. Spears Cancer Center for a day focused on compassion, healing and connection. This meaningful walk raises funds for The Family House expansion, part of the AsanteForward2030 campaign. The Family House offers a home away from home for cancer patients and their loved ones who must travel for care, and the planned expansion will increase capacity so more families can stay close during treatment. The event includes registration and early activities, an opening ceremony, and a one mile route that passes The Family House, followed by a finish line celebration with live music from The Brothers Reed, local food trucks and family friendly activities. Attendance is free, and registration is required to support everyone’s comfort and safety. All proceeds from individual gifts and sponsorships directly support the expansion, helping to double capacity for patients in need. Peer to peer fundraising is encouraged, with opportunities to create or join a team locally or from afar. 2026 Golf Fundraiser - Southern Oregon Aspire

At Dutcher Creek Golf Course, this annual four-person scramble brings teams together for 18 holes in support of more than 130 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Proceeds help close key funding gaps and sustain programs such as housing, employment, transportation, and the dedicated staff who provide them. Player registration is $150 and includes a shared cart, a tee prize bundle with a mulligan and raffle ticket, breakfast and lunch, and two complimentary drink tickets. Participants can look forward to several KP prizes, more than four on-course games, a hole-in-one challenge, a putting contest, and access to a high-value basket raffle featuring local products and experiences. Title sponsorship is provided by Evergreen Federal Bank.

Taking the spotlight is the John Dough Boys, a five piece string band from Southern Oregon whose hard charging mix of bluegrass, punk, rock, and folk powers songs about women, beer, and bad decisions. With upright slap bass, drums, fiddle, guitar, and banjo, their live sound aims to get feet moving and leave the crowd wanting more. The series depends on the support of partners, volunteers, and sponsors at many levels to keep this long running tradition thriving.
