Unwind With Yin Yoga
Settle into a soothing Yin yoga class led by Alix. Suitable for all levels, this 60-minute practice emphasizes mostly floor-based postures held for several minutes, encouraging gentle, sustained stretching and a relaxed, deliberate pace. As the outer muscles soften, the longer holds work into the body’s connective tissues around the joints and through the fascia, helping create balance alongside other activities. The quiet, reflective approach supports attentive awareness of sensations and emotions, often allowing deeper releases to emerge. Props are supplied, so you only need to show up. Drop-ins are $20, and passes are available.
Blissful Being WellnessSelf Care Stretching Class
Experience a self-care stretching and chair massage session at Body Alchemy Wellness Studio. Led by Victoria Sanchez, a licensed massage therapist, this class offers calm, easy-to-follow movement and relaxation practices for anyone who feels tight from long hours of sitting, standing, driving, or working on their feet. Expect supportive instruction that helps ease stiffness, increase mobility, reduce discomfort, and build posture awareness, along with simple tools you can continue to use at home. It is not a workout. The pace is gentle, with time to ask questions and learn ways to care for your body between massage appointments. Sliding scale pricing is 15 to 30 dollars per person. A tea bar is available during class with choices such as chai latte, matcha, mushroom coffee, mushroom hot chocolate, kava lattes and shots, house herbal tea blends, and ceremonial cacao. Bring a yoga mat if available. Chairs and modifications are provided for all mobility levels. RSVP is encouraged because space is limited.
