3rd Friday Art Show- Art of Belonging: A People's Gallery

Central Art Gallery presents a collaborative exhibition with Maddy Tuttle and Jackson County Library Services that highlights the creativity of unhoused community members through Art of Belonging: A People's Gallery. Centered on voices from Jackson County, Oregon, it invites visitors to engage with artwork rooted in lived experience, creativity, and community. The collection emerged over three months of drop-in art sessions at Rogue Retreat, The OHRA Center, and the Medford and Ashland libraries. Materials were gathered through a community art supply drive supported by Central Art, ScrappyCraft/The Artist Attic, and the Medford Library, making it possible for participants to create and share their stories. The exhibition seeks to counter stigmas surrounding homelessness, build understanding, and offer a welcoming space for self expression. It encourages reflection on care for one another, empathy, and curiosity as foundations of belonging. Organized by Madeline Tuttle and Meghan Thompson of Jackson County Library Services, the project is supported by Central Art, the OHSU Street Nursing Team, ScrappyCraft/The Artist Attic, The OHRA Center, and Rogue Retreat.

Boundaries As a Spiritual Practice- Not Just a Communication Skill by Lorie Solay

Admission is free. This presentation reimagines boundaries as a spiritual practice rooted in self-worth and inner alignment instead of just words to say. It addresses familiar challenges such as saying yes when you mean no, avoiding tough conversations, feeling guilty about having needs, and knowing your limits yet finding it hard to uphold them. The focus is on shifting from overgiving and overwhelm to steadiness, clarity, and fuller self-expression, so relationships and daily life begin to reflect what truly matters to you. Lorie Solay, CHt, blends psychology, somatic awareness, and metaphysical perspectives to show how boundaries shape the nervous system, subconscious patterns, and personal energy. Topics include why boundaries are central to spiritual growth, how people-pleasing pulls you away from authenticity, how to recognize body-based and energetic signals that a limit is needed, practical ways to hold boundaries with calm and self-trust, and how aligned limits create more ease, respect, and fulfillment. The intention is alignment rather than rigidity, allowing your values to guide your choices, connections, and use of time and energy. Lorie is an award-winning coach trained in Hypnotherapy, NLP, Quantum Consciousness, Integration Breathwork, Sylvotherapy, and other transformative modalities. With more than a decade of experience supporting individuals, groups, and corporate teams through retreats, workshops, and immersive nature-based programs, including service as a Mount Shasta sacred site guide, she brings practical tools together with spiritual insight to help people reconnect with inner wisdom and build meaningful, aligned lives.

Presented by the Historic Holly Theatre, this concert features six-time Grammy Award winner Jason Isbell, hailing from North Alabama and known for turning universal feelings into vivid, plainspoken poetry. Following acclaimed albums, extensive touring with The 400 Unit, and an appearance in the Academy Award nominated film Killers of the Flower Moon, he shifted gears with a solo release titled Foxes in the Snow. Recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City, the album narrows the focus to his voice and an all mahogany 1940 Martin 0-17 acoustic guitar, underscoring his craft as both writer and musician. Critics have noted that this pared back approach brings the spotlight directly to the artist and his songwriting.
