Music on the Green brings a free summer concert to American Legion Park featuring Hokuleʻa Ohana, a Central Oregon Hawaiian and Polynesian dance group that shares island culture through music, movement, and community performance. Active in Redmond since the 1990s and led by Hawaiian-born dancer and teacher Novelyn Tavita, the ensemble blends storytelling, rhythm, costume, hula, and Tahitian dance into a vibrant, family-centered show rooted in the spirit of ohana. The festival setting includes local food, drinks, desserts, and craft vendors, creating a friendly block party atmosphere with plenty for kids to enjoy. Blankets and lawn chairs make it easy to relax on the grass and take in one of Central Oregon’s long-standing community traditions that highlights what residents and visitors appreciate about Redmond.

Pack a lunch, bring your DSP and a friend, and enjoy casual lawn games and time together at Culver Park. Attendance does not require using Premier support services.

A welcoming karaoke night open to children, teens, and adults. Participants can take the stage and sing for free. It suits first timers as well as seasoned performers, and the setting is designed to keep things friendly for the whole family.
