Pricing is $45 per person for the door hanger or $35 per person for the canvas, and you select one option. This is a prepaid event, and day-of painting is not available. This volunteer project focuses on planting native vegetation at Riley Ranch Nature Reserve in the lower canyon area. It is part of the BPRD natural resources and trails team’s stewardship efforts that also include removing weeds, cleaning up trash, and closing unofficial trails. Reaching the work site requires a hike of about one mile down a steep trail, followed by the climb back up.

Chained to Stone returns to Silver Moon Brewing with a full evening of live 90s rock covers, spanning grunge, alternative, and hard rock. The set features songs made famous by Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Silverchair, and more, delivered with loud guitars and big singalong moments. This appearance is one of the band’s final performances of the year.

Barbie Camp brings DOD’s fall gathering to Central Oregon for a weekend of camping and riding based along Whychus Creek a few miles south of Sisters. Participants typically arrive on Thursday night or Friday and handle their own dinners. The main plan for Saturday is a shuttle to the top of Trail 99 with a ride back to camp on an intermediate route of about 19 miles and roughly 570 feet of climbing, or riders can choose their own outing. Evenings center around a big bonfire, and Saturday night features a potluck, so bring your camp cooking to share. The campsite is a large dispersed area without picnic tables or drinking water. DOD will provide portable toilets. There is plenty of space, no reservations are needed, and camping is free. Tents, trailers, and RVs are welcome. Warm showers are available at Sisters City Park for those who bring quarters. Temperatures can drop below freezing at night, so pack down and fleece layers and check the weather forecast. E-bikes are not permitted on Trail 99, Peterson Ridge, or other National Forest singletrack in the Bend area. Exceptions include the Madras East Hills Trail System and a few trails around Oakridge where Class 1 e-bikes are allowed. If you plan to ride only on Saturday, arrive with enough time to gear up so you are ready to roll from camp with the group.

Set in the mountain town of Sisters, Oregon, this women-centered race weekend celebrates strength, community, and the joy of running together. Participants can choose a trail half marathon on the Peterson Ridge Trail network in the Deschutes National Forest or opt for a 10K or 5K road race that winds through downtown Sisters. Each distance begins and ends at FivePine Lodge among tall Ponderosa pines, followed by a lively post-race celebration. The event welcomes runners of every age and experience level. Midtown Events presents a stop of the Kottonmouth Kings 30th Anniversary Tour at The Domino Room in Bend with special guest Chandler P. Led by original founder Dustin “D-Loc” Miller, the group blends hard-driving hip hop with punk intensity and a rebellious edge shaped by three decades in the underground. The tour features new music and merch, including the High Waters Incoming EP, with a 30-year legacy album noted as on the way. This is an all-ages show.

Now in its eleventh year, Central Oregon Fill Your Pantry turns the Deschutes County Fairgrounds into an outdoor, bulk-focused marketplace where farmers, ranchers, orchardists, and producers offer large quantities of local food for stocking up through winter. Expect big buys like bags of produce, cases of fruit, and boxes of meat, along with grains, vegetables, ferments, and more to fill the pantry, freezer, or root cellar. It functions much like a farmers market, but everything is offered in bulk. There is no advance registration, and the event is open to all. Preorders are available and recommended to help secure preferred items, though not required. Because purchases can be heavy, plan for lifting and bring something sturdy to haul your food, such as a wagon or hand truck.
