Hosted by the PONY XXPRESS MUSTANG CLUB, the Carolina Mustang Meetup takes place at Carolina Ale House. The venue offers a family friendly sports atmosphere, a scratch-made menu, and an extensive selection of over 50 draft beers.

Settle in for a free community movie night under the stars at McLean Park. Bring friends, beach chairs, and blankets for a relaxed evening outdoors. Now in its 16th year, the Grand Strand Stampede car show takes place at Broadway at the Beach, set near Dave & Buster's with the show area oriented toward Highway 17. Space is limited.

At Broadway at the Beach, Fords at the Shore 2026 features an up-close look at the Ford Mustang GTD, an 815-horsepower, street-legal Mustang that showcases race-inspired engineering and offers photo opportunities with one of the most exclusive Mustangs made. The GTD is appearing across the week at the Team Shelby Carolinas-Region All Ford Car Show, the 2nd Annual Cruise-In at the Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre, and the 16th Annual Grand Strand Stampede. The series celebrates Ford performance heritage and innovation alongside classic, modern, and specialty vehicles, with the GTD anticipated to be among the standout attractions.

The inaugural Harvest Cruise-In & Car Show brings classic vehicles from past decades into the spotlight. It features food available for purchase, awards, and a family friendly setting. The day includes opportunities for owners to display their cars while visitors admire the lineup, offering something for everyone.

Celebrate Grandparents Day weekend at 5 Star Farm with free gate admission for all grandparents, whether they come with family or on their own. General admission is $10 for guests ages 3 and up, and children 2 and under enter free. Tickets are available at the gate and can be purchased with cash or credit or debit, with a small processing fee for card payments. Paid admission includes access to the Play-land with more than 15 activities, rides on the Safari Train, and chances to pet and feed a variety of barnyard and exotic animals. FallFest will be happening as well, and more seasonal events are on the horizon. Additional attractions and the list of participating food trucks will be announced closer to the weekend. This second annual meet up brings attendees together at Bagel Factory II for a final sendoff with a lineup of cars, friendly conversation, and fresh bagels. It offers a casual opportunity to connect, share highlights from the week, and head out afterward.

A second annual celebration of cake returns to The Market Common in Myrtle Beach, presented by EmpowerLit, Literacy & Beyond. This flagship fundraiser highlights young talent, inviting bakers ages 8 to 18 to craft cakes in a live contest while attendees sample the results and help choose the winners. The experience includes music, a kids area, and a raffle with a 50-50 split, all centered on community connection and plenty of tasting. All entries follow a better-for-you guideline that excludes artificial dyes, bleached ingredients, and seed oils. Proceeds support EmpowerLit's author visits and year-round literacy programs that strengthen skills, confidence, and self-worth for thousands of students.

Trace Myrtle Beach’s evolution from the mid twentieth century to today while exploring movies that were filmed or premiered in the city and its role in music history.
