The Wassamasaw Tribe of Varnertown Indians hosts a men’s drumming class series led by Kaya Littleturtle of the Warpaint Singers. Instruction focuses on tradition, rhythm, and cultural protocols. Formal instructional sessions are complemented by practice gatherings in between to build skills, consistency, and stronger group unity. The series supports cultural continuity and intergenerational learning while strengthening traditional men’s drumming within the community. Advance RSVP is requested, and registered participants will receive additional details and practice dates.
