Seacoast ChurchComic Chaos
Open to ages 8 and up, this comic class led by teacher Yeshaya Drayton focuses on the essentials of good storytelling for comics. Participants explore how to build dynamic compositions, craft engaging narratives, and plan pages using storyboards. Whether you work in black and white or color and in genres from fantasy to romance, the techniques taught are designed to help you develop strong, readable comics.
Get to Know the Artist
Designed for ages 8 and up, this class with teacher Dominique Hodge explores art history through the lens of five celebrated artists. Participants examine hallmark techniques, recurring themes, and the enduring influence of each artist, then put learning into practice by creating studies of well-known works and applying those approaches to their own art.
Jeweled Jellyfish
Experience summer creativity at Sip & Gogh with an art class that welcomes a range of ages. Evening sessions are open to teens 14 and older when accompanied by an adult. Saturday offerings welcome children 8 and up with an adult, and Kid's Summer Canvas Classes are designed for ages 6 and older. Seats are first come, first served. Full payment in advance secures a spot, and multiple sessions can be covered in a single purchase. Walk-ins may be accommodated, although an easel is not guaranteed without prepayment. Those preferring to pay by cash or check can arrange a studio visit by calling 803-236-1193, as regular open hours are not maintained. Updates about classes and any changes are shared on the studio’s Facebook page and website. Most classes run up to 3 hours, while Kid's Summer Canvas Classes are up to 2 hours. If extra time is needed beyond the scheduled end, a late fee of $15 applies for each 15 minutes, up to 45 minutes. If plans change, calling 803-236-1193 before the class begins allows a transfer to another class of equal value within 30 days. Refunds or credits are not offered, and missed classes without prior notice are not eligible for transfer. Tickets cannot be resold, and caution is advised regarding online scammers.
