The 5th Annual Music City ACC: The Musical

A Broadway-themed ballroom night invites newcomers and icons to step into the spotlight with admission at $40 cash only for the entire evening. The energy centers on turning standbys into stars, with OTA beginners facing runway, performance, and realness challenges that call for fast-turn high fashion, rehearsal-ready passion, and believable backstage or ensemble authenticity. Face takes a theatrical turn with two spotlights. Female Figure Face draws on Once on This Island for sun-kissed glow, luminous finish, and goddess-level poise accented by gold and statement headpieces. Butch Queen Face nods to The Lion King on Broadway, asking for regal structure and powerful presence supported by considered touches of African-inspired styling and makeup painted with intention, not prosthetics. Performance rises to full production scale when houses bring one musical to life as a five-person ensemble that includes Butch Queen Vogue Fem, Female Figure Performance, Realness with a Twist, and Old Way, with at least one legend, for a $1,000 prize. Female Figure Performance channels Chicago with 1920s sparkle and courtroom drama for $500. Old Way pays homage to Bring in ’da Noise, Bring in ’da Funk through sharp lines, control, and history-rich movement in 90s streetwear or Afrocentric performance attire. Realness with a Twist transforms Kinky Boots grit to glam, moving from factory-floor disguise to showstopping red-boot fantasy. Butch Queen Vogue Femme steps into the Jellicle world of Cats with feline grace, menace, or heartbreak translated through every line and dip. Sex and body categories bring heat and command. Female Figure Sex Siren evokes Carmen Jones with 1940s glamour and dangerous allure. Male Figure Sex Siren channels Magic Mike XXL with headliner confidence and stamina. The body battle inspired by Cabaret sets Butch Queens and Femme Queens in a smoky club fantasy where sculpted silhouettes and stage-ready confidence tell the story. Fashion turns the room into an elegant lobby with Best Dressed Spectator, a $1,000 moment for theatre-night finery, from refined gloves and vintage glamour to polished tuxedos and sweeping gowns. Bizarre invites a Little Shop of Horrors twist, blending botanical surrealism with Broadway imagination. Realness categories celebrate legacy and everyday truth. Legendary Realness pairs The Temptations and Dreamgirls for $500, asking for Motown polish or diva-level poise. Butch Queen Pretty Boy Realness winks at Grease with cool confidence and sock-hop charm. School Boy Realness pulls from Newsies with street-corner hustle. Executive Realness Inspired by The Producers puts power players front and center, from audacious showrunner to glamorous backer. Drag Realness honors The Color Purple with period-true femininity for $250. Butch Queen Everyday Realness mirrors the grit and heart of RENT’s East Village. Butch Queen Thug Realness reflects the depth and duality of The Allure of Thug Life with quiet intensity and believable street-edge composure. The grand finale crowns an OTA Runway champion with a $3,000 grand prize inspired by The Wiz, inviting competitors to embody a character and strut their path through Oz with attitude and flair. Masters of Ceremony are Legendary King Balmain and Legendary Greg Lanvin.
