    Dog Days

Knoxville · Zoo Knoxville, 3500 Knoxville Zoo Dr

Well behaved dogs are invited to explore the zoo alongside their humans during a special limited capacity event presented by PetSafe Brands. The zoo remains open for regular admission, and a limited number of dog tickets allows canine companions to join the visit. Tickets are available online in advance only, and there are no same day walk up sales. Every person and every dog needs a separate admission for this event. Members do not need a separate ticket for themselves, but they must purchase admission for their dogs through their member account to access discounted pricing. When purchasing, select an available entry window. After check in, you may enjoy the zoo until closing. Capacity is limited and some entry windows may sell out. If dog ticket options are not visible during checkout, that date or window is sold out. Each dog must have a valid dog ticket, and human general admission does not count for canine entry. On arrival, dogs check in at Walk Gate 3 during the selected entry window. This entrance is to the left of the Zoo Shop exit near the tram pickup area in the main roundabout. Service animals assisting guests are admitted at no charge, with check in at the Ranger Station and proof of current rabies vaccination. Canine requirements include an up to date rabies vaccination, a non retractable leash no longer than six feet that stays attached to a person at all times, and a dedicated handler who is 18 or older for each dog. One adult may not bring two dogs. Dogs must be at least four months old. Guests should bring their own waste bags and promptly clean up after their pets. Dogs must remain under control and avoid disruptive or aggressive behavior toward zoo animals or other guests. Parties that do not follow these rules may be asked to leave without a refund. This event is exclusively for dogs, and other types of pets are not permitted.
