John Bills and the Academics

Main Street Brews & Tunes spotlights John Bills and the Academics, a bluegrass ensemble steeped in traditional Appalachian sounds and rich harmonies that pay tribute to classic bluegrass. The Rockin Rivet food truck will be on site, and Main Street Cafe will serve local brews. There is no admission charge and all are welcome. Bringing a chair or blanket is recommended for comfortable seating, and the series features rotating food trucks and a changing tap list from week to week. During Brews & Tunes, Yoga in the Park is offered in Jimmy Neil Smith Park behind the International Storytelling Center. Participation is free with donations appreciated, all experience levels are invited, and certified area instructors lead the sessions. Participants may bring a yoga mat, towel, or blanket, and classes are weather dependent.

Yoga in the Park

Enjoy a no-cost, all-levels yoga class at Jimmy Neil Smith Park, part of the Yoga in the Park series guided by certified local instructors. This session is led by Leah Tilson Berrelez. There is no registration and no fee. Please bring a yoga mat, towel, or blanket, and consider inviting a friend to practice in the fresh air. Donations to the instructor are welcome. The series depends on suitable weather. After the session, Brews & Tunes, a complimentary summer concert series, follows.

Enjoy a cookout at TGL that brings grilling together with a full day of MTG Commander. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks are on the menu, and Commander games will keep the action going from beginning to end. Please remember to clear your plate when you finish eating.
