Markets

Elizabethton Farmers Market

A weekly, farmer run marketplace brings the community truly local foods and goods. Shoppers buy directly from producers based in Carter County, Tennessee and nearby areas, with farms prioritized for natural, chemical free practices. Offerings include pasture raised meats such as beef, pork, lamb, goat, and chicken, along with an abundance of seasonal produce like greens, vegetables, fruits, berries, and microgreens. You will also find mushrooms, raw cow’s milk, yogurt, butter, local honey, pasture raised eggs, goat cheese, herbs and seasonings, sauces, jams and jellies, sourdough bread, freshly roasted coffee beans, and a wide assortment of baked desserts, snacks, and treats. Homemade pet treats, fresh cut flower bouquets, live plants, natural skincare and household goods, and artisan pieces including woodworking and pottery add to the variety. The market features live music and food trucks, and children can enjoy an enclosed playground. Restrooms, ADA parking, and pavilions help create a comfortable place to linger and shop local. Multiple vendors accept SNAP/EBT. Farmacy Fit, a free produce program, allows participants of any age to take a walk or do light chair exercises in exchange for tokens that can be used for fruits and vegetables. This program is open to everyone, with details available at the information booth.

Music

Tuesday Tunes

Singer songwriter Bradley Dargan, originally from Illinois, shares original music shaped by about 15 years of writing and recording. Live performances center on intricate fingerpicking and vocals, building songs that are calm yet complex. The music takes place in the living room by the fireplace on the first floor. No registration is required, and this is a drop-in event. Purchasing food or drinks helps support the teahouse nonprofit, and tips for the musician are encouraged. Dargan also offers a weekly meditation upstairs in the classroom, with options for solo or guided practice.
