All materials, tools, glazes, and firings are included. Every participant will finish one piece that will be fired and made ready for pickup, with notifications sent when it is complete in about three to four weeks. No prior ceramics experience is required. The workshop is led by Lorena Gonzalez, whose lifelong connection to art began in childhood. Growing up on a ranch along the Rio Grande River, she experimented with natural clay from her family’s land and created pigments from native fruits and plants, later expanding into acrylics and developing a strong affinity for oils. These early explorations continue to shape the inspiration and meaning behind her current work. Please note that the Art Center does not offer class exchanges.
