Kocktails & Karaoke at RockHouse
RockHouseParenting Class
This six week spring parenting class, led by Daniel and Cathie Orozco, is designed for parents and grandparents across all stages of family life. The series focuses on nurturing children to follow Christ in today’s culture by building greater awareness and intentionality at home. Each session includes case studies, small group conversation, and shared resources. Across the weeks, participants explore how to make sense of the world and the worldviews shaping both adults and children, consider the cultural and social currents surrounding families and what faithful living entails, examine sex, gender, marriage, and family through a Christ centered, biblical lens, discuss how their households are addressing current cultural issues, respond to the questions kids bring as they encounter their culture while learning to navigate those waves without being swept away, and conclude by reflecting on how to offer a cultural response and take part in creating culture.
