Yesterday’s Gone presents the second annual Fairways to Freedom fundraiser at Golfinity, an indoor golf simulation venue. Old Settlers Park Grand Opening and Concert

Old Settlers Park celebrates major additions with the grand opening of the Tennis & Pickleball Complex and the Joanne Land Playground, along with the kickoff of the new Live at Lakeview concert series. Ribbon cuttings highlight the milestones, and attendees can explore the new courts and experience the playground. Hill Country Flyer

The Hill Country Flyer is a hallmark Central Texas excursion that brings classic rail travel to life over the course of a full day. Ride in lovingly restored vintage railcars cared for by the Austin Steam Train Association and a team of dedicated volunteers, and take time onboard to wander between cars, pick up refreshments and souvenirs at the concession car, and admire the details that turn the train into a moving museum. The journey covers 66 miles round trip. It begins in Cedar Park, makes its way to Burnet for a two hour layover, then returns to Cedar Park later in the day. During the stop in Burnet, there is time to stroll the historic town square, share a meal, or visit Wedding Oak Winery before settling back in for the ride home. As the locomotive heads back, the cadence of the rails and easy conversations set a relaxed tone that defines the experience. Suitable for all ages. All purchases are final.

An instructor-led, in-person American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider course will be held at Williamson County EMS. Designed for current and aspiring healthcare professionals, it is well suited for EMTs, RNs, CNAs, paramedics, and anyone preparing for a career in healthcare. In a classroom setting, participants practice essential lifesaving skills such as high-quality CPR, AED operation, and effective team responses during emergencies. It serves both newcomers starting a healthcare journey and those who need certification, helping build the skills required to act in critical situations.

Healthy Kids Running Series Spring 2026 - Cedar Park, TX

A five-week running program for children from Pre-K through 8th grade comes to Elizabeth Milburn Park, meeting once a week with races designed for every age. Kids can take part in 50- and 75-yard sprints as well as quarter-, half-, and one-mile runs, earning points each week based on their finish. Registration covers all five weeks and includes weekly race bibs, a runner shirt, a finisher medal, and any sponsor giveaways. All registrations are non-refundable and cannot be transferred, and online early bird pricing increases three weeks before the first race. The Series also includes a Challenger Division, an adaptive 75-yard event for children with disabilities or special needs that welcomes support on the course from family and friends, along with the use of crutches, braces, wheelchairs, and other supportive devices.

Cedar Park Run Mile challenge & 5K · Spring edition

Local runners in Cedar Park have a community race at Elizabeth Milburn Park featuring two distances, a 1 mile challenge and a 5K. The event welcomes all ages. Groups of 10 or more receive 15 percent off, with group rates available for XC teams, booster clubs, and families. Austin ST/RS drivers are planning a cruise to link up with the Houston ST/RS group on their home turf. The caravan will meet at the QT at Highway 79 and County Road 110 in Round Rock, then follow a straightforward route: 79 to 1660, 95 to 290, continuing all the way to Cypress. The group aims to arrive together and park side by side, so a head count is needed to make sure there is enough space reserved.

Donut Dash 5K

The 8th Annual Round Rock Donut Dash blends a lively 5K with sweet motivation along the way. A pre race warmup sets the tone at the start, and a mid course pit stop offers donuts from a local shop before you head for the finish. The celebration continues at the finish line with music, themed snacks, yard games, and drinks. Participants can pick a pace and style that fits. The Challenger Division calls for running half the distance, eating a dozen donuts, then completing the course within the event’s time limit to earn a finisher award. The Casual Division lets runners enjoy the race and their donuts at their own pace, and the Zero K Division welcomes donut fans who prefer to cheer and savor treats without running. This end-of-season champs swim meet takes place at Round Rock Aquatics Center. Swimmers 10 and under are grouped separately from those 11 and over. The competition is held in a 25-yard pool, and entry times will be converted to the appropriate course when swimmers are entered. Cousins Maine Lobster will be serving at the Georgetown Sertoma celebration with a lineup of seafood favorites. The menu features lobster rolls prepared Maine, Connecticut and garlic butter style, plus tacos and quesadillas, lobster tots, grilled cheese and lobster tails. There are also warm bowls of lobster bisque or clam chowder, and a sweet finish with whoopie pies. The celebration includes a parade, vendors, a petting zoo, live music and fireworks.
