This monthly, one-hour youth service project focuses on cleaning up Rivery Park. Participants ages 5 to 18 are welcome. At Lake Creek Park in Round Rock, this friendly community ride runs about 45 to 60 minutes and welcomes cyclists, triathletes, and social riders. Two pace options help everyone find a comfortable fit. The Spicy group covers roughly 12 miles at 12 mph or faster on a longer route that includes more downtown streets, which is great for building endurance and speed. The Jazzy group rolls about 10 miles at 10 mph or more on paths with less car exposure and an easy, conversational tempo, making it well suited for base miles, recovery, and newer riders. It is a no-drop format with planned regroup spots, all types of bikes are encouraged, and the atmosphere is coed and supportive. Please bring a helmet along with front and rear lights.
