Lines of Being: A Yoga, Meditation & Art Workshop

Led by Claire, this gentle, immersive workshop offers a calm creative space that blends mindful yoga, guided meditation, and intuitive abstract drawing. The focus is presence and self-kindness rather than perfect poses or polished artwork, encouraging honest expression to unfold at a natural pace. Participants begin by settling breath and body, easing expectations and quieting inner criticism. Movement is slow and accessible, meeting all experience levels with supportive guidance. The drawing segment is guided and intuitive, inspired by an abstract still life, with no prior art background required. Attention rests on observation and curiosity, allowing the hand to respond naturally to what is seen. After the initial sketches, light prompts invite embellishment without pressure to change or improve. A closing meditation and reflection return the group to stillness and highlight simple ways to carry mindfulness into everyday life. Open to beginners and seasoned practitioners alike, the experience is adaptable and supportive. Expected takeaways include a steadier sense of presence, gentle joy, and renewed connection with body, breath, and creative intuition, along with practical tools for bringing mindful attention to daily moments. It is a warm reminder that attending to breath, to movement, and to the evolving line on the page can be deeply nourishing.
