The Filthy Heathens at The Shack in the Back / Odessa TX

The Filthy Heathens roll into The Shack in the Back in Odessa for a night of rock and roll, joined by Sal and The Stone Wall Hippies. Born from the chemistry between Bronson Hetzer, Ryan Palcic, and “Captain” Craig Bishop, the group locked into full stride with guitarists Cody Doench and Dawson Stepp. With five players in sync, they keep the throttle high. Their sound blends Southern grit with an alt edge, mixes classic country and hard rock, and refuses to fit neatly into one box. It is raw, rich, and rooted in more than genre, nodding to Skynyrd and Waylon while tipping a hat to modern acts like Blackberry Smoke and The Steel Woods. The songs are hardened on the road, unflinching, and meant to be felt. Known for high-energy shows and a fast-growing fan base, they have been taking stages across the country. Sets are built to pull attention off the phone and into the moment, with crowds matching the intensity. Their debut EP, Etheridge, features the singles Tupelo Sun and Devils Like Me. The Muscle Shoals Session captures a live, no-frills recording from the storied Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, reflecting exactly how the band hits on stage.
