A weekly music therapy series created for children with Down syndrome ages 0 to 3 offers six interactive sessions for $25, with a $15 sibling add on for those close in age. Each class is led by board certified music therapists from Sound Starts Music Therapy who guide little ones through singing, movement, simple instrument play, and sensory activities that support communication, motor development, social engagement, and early learning. The setting offers a friendly place for families to connect. Capacity is limited, so advance registration is required. Families are asked to enroll only if they expect to attend most of the series, understanding that schedules can sometimes change.

This TCAP vaccination clinic focuses on essential preventive care for dogs and cats. Pets must be alert, well hydrated, and eating and drinking normally to receive vaccines. A wellness veterinarian examines every pet, and vaccinations are not performed while pets remain in vehicles. The clinic offers only select preventive services in line with TCAP’s mission. For a full physical exam or to address specific health concerns, please consult a full-service veterinarian. For safety, dogs must be on a short, secure leash, and retractable or loose leashes are not permitted. Cats must be in a carrier. Young athletes can put their soccer skills to the test at a community challenge from the Knights of Columbus, open to boys and girls ages 9 to 14. Participants compete within their own age and gender groups, and winners advance to the District level. The event takes place at the Prince of Peace Athletic Field, and registration is free. Homeschool families gather each month at Side Quest Arcade for a relaxed meetup where kids can play and parents can connect. Special pricing for homeschoolers is available for this event, including an all-day unlimited play wristband for $8 that opens access to nearly 200 arcade machines with same-day reentry, a $13 package that adds a small popcorn and unlimited fountain soda to the wristband, and a whole pizza with eight slices for $11.
