Donations can be dropped at the bus or at designated collection points throughout the center, including next to the Security Office by Toys“R”Us, the Guest Lounge in Suite 319 near Brico’s Pizza, and outside the Management Office in Suite 850 near Wayfair. An All Country Friendsgiving dock diving event kicks off the NADD 2027 season with free admission for spectators and vendor shopping. Sanctioned by North America Diving Dogs, this is the sixth and final K9 Waterworld event of the calendar year, with try-it opportunities offered when time allows. Competitors can choose to pre-pay after invoices are sent following the closing date, which secures a spot in the running order. On-site payment is also accepted, with cash, check, and debit preferred, and credit cards accepted. Withdrawals are not allowed after the closing date. For details on withdrawals and no shows, see the NADD Rulebook, page 4, section 4. The event is open to the public, and the bleachers are wheelchair accessible. Professional photos of your dog’s jumps will be available for purchase. New participants can receive guidance on how the event works. Dogs should be crated in a safe, cool area throughout the event. A temperature-controlled training building is available for crating at $10 per dog per day, with a maximum of 24 dogs. There are also eight outdoor 5x5 kennels with fans in the shade, available first come, first served. An off-leash potty area is provided for competitors. The facility offers a large outdoor parking area with night lighting, plenty of grass for tent setups, and a barn with a breezeway connecting two buildings for shade. In the event of rain, please avoid parking on the grass. Check-in takes place in the barn. Plan to check in 30 minutes before the scheduled start of your splash, and note that splash times may shift based on when earlier splashes finish. The annual Dinner Dance at Tejas Hall in Kyle raises funds for Buda 4H and the Kyle and Buda FFA youth. Attendees gather to celebrate and support students who dedicate time year round to their projects and to the organization. Texas Old Town2026 Jr TX Water Safari
Created as a shorter take on the Texas Water Safari, this junior race keeps the same age requirements and covers 16 miles from San Marcos City Park to the Staples Hwy 1977 bridge. Registration is available only on race day at San Marcos City Park, and the entry fee is $35 per paddler. Competitors must reach the Hwy 1979 Martindale Bridge by the event cutoff. Refreshments are provided at the finish line.

Attire ranges from classic formalwear and sweeping ball gowns to wizarding-inspired looks, and a costume contest will recognize the most imaginative ensembles. The celebration benefits Hats Off For Veterans and its initiatives that provide higher education scholarships, professional development support, and mental health resources for Texas veterans and their families.
