This in-person session with Marilyn is devoted to basil. It welcomes herb lovers and foodies who want to learn more and connect with others, offering opportunities to meet new friends with the same interest.
Workshop Wednesdays: Summer Scent Bar
Enjoy a hands-on scent bar workshop centered on summer fragrances. Participants can combine up to two scents from a seasonal menu to craft personalized items, with unscented bases provided. Choose to create a mini body mist, mini shower oil, or mini room spray. Pricing is 2 for $14 or 3 for $20. The experience is drop-in and self-paced. Lowe's Summer Workshop
A special Kids' Workshop with Lowe's welcomes children ages 4 and older. Parent assistance may be required during the activities. Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. If an individual needs an accommodation to participate in this library program, please contact the host library location at least three days in advance.
George and Cynthia Woods Mitchell LibraryLibrary Art Explorers
Created for kids ages 7 to 13, this library art program focuses on trying new techniques and expressing creativity with guidance from Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Nicole. This session features Pop Art painting inspired by Barrie J Davies. Participants will craft vivid, colorful pieces with dynamic designs and playful character themes while exploring the energy of contemporary pop and street art. It is part of a weekly series where each meeting introduces a different project.
