A sought-after recipe at the New Orleans School of Cooking lures Gretchen into hatching fanciful plans that pull Thomas along. When a spur-of-the-moment road trip ends with a police escort home, deeper concerns start to simmer... is Gretchen’s playfulness masking cognitive decline, how much can an aging heart withstand, and where is the line between loving care and taking control? This production is staged through a special arrangement with Next Stage Press, LLC. Support is provided by Acme Consulting, with partial funding from the City of Conroe Arts & Culture Grant, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Texas Commission on the Arts.
