Sunday Craft Volunteer
Volunteers help spark creativity at Sunday Craft with Swaner EcoCenter. They support staff during the busiest times of the weekend and help a popular, kid focused program run smoothly. Responsibilities include welcoming young visitors, guiding them through simple themed projects that use nature inspired or upcycled materials, and keeping the craft area clean and safe from setup through cleanup. Volunteers also talk with children about nature topics to encourage curiosity and exploration. The commitment is flexible. You may sign up for a single shift or participate on a regular basis, with a limit of two shifts per month so everyone has a chance to be involved. Each registration reserves one spot for one person, so if more than one individual would like to help, such as a parent and child, each person needs their own sign up. Plan to arrive a little early to review instructions and prepare materials, and stay briefly afterward to finish cleanup. Open to volunteers ages 12 and older who are friendly, patient, reliable, and comfortable communicating in a busy, child centered setting. Registration is available on the Swaner EcoCenter website.
