Every competitor runs every other racer within their class, and the class winner is decided by the most victories. Two classes are available. The Pro or experienced class follows AlleyRatz Comp rules and welcomes 3‑gear platforms such as T‑jet, Magnatraction, Xtraction, and similar. Electrical braid and shunts are allowed, armatures must be at least 5.5 ohm with custom winds permitted, and ceramic motor magnets are required. Use two traction magnets in the stock locations. Slip‑on tires and rims are open, any front axle setup works, and any crown gear with a plastic top plate and gears is acceptable. Wheelie bars are allowed and hard bodies are required. The Newbie or novice class follows AlleyRatz Almost Stock rules for any 3‑gear T‑jet chassis. Stock or stock‑replacement electrical is required, 14‑ohm arm rewinds are permitted, ceramic motor magnets are used, and two traction magnets remain in the stock positions. Slip‑on tires and rims are open, any front axle setup is fine, any crown gear with a plastic top plate and gears is acceptable, wheelie bars are allowed, and hard bodies are required. The Newbie class is intended for newcomers to building or racing, while anyone with prior race experience competes in Pro. Racing is held on a 1/8‑mile strip with four feet of dynamic braking, with drapes to slow cars before a foam‑filled catch box. Power comes from two 30‑volt, 20‑amp supplies that fire both lanes simultaneously from a single switch, and competition runs at 20 volts with DRC timing. Entry is capped at 16 racers for Pro and 8 for Newbie, and registration with Gramps is required to secure a spot. This is a mail‑in event, so cars are shipped for competition, and $10 should be included for return shipping. Build them fast, durable, and unapologetically fugly. Trophies will be awarded for first place in Pro, first place in Newbie, and for the Fugliest of Them All.
