Starry Nights @ the Plaza brings an evening of live music, community outreach and food trucks to Centennial Plaza. Pop-O-GoGo takes the stage, the Public Safety Committee hosts Night Out Against Crime, and Food Truck League food trucks round out the lineup. Admission is free. It is part of an ongoing series on the plaza.

Presented by Reggae Rise Up, the High Tide Summer Tour featuring Pepper and The Movement arrives at The Union Event Center, with Joe Samba joining as a special guest. This is an all ages concert celebrating live music.

The State Room presents a second night with James McMurtry, joined by BettySoo. This 21 and over concert highlights his vivid storytelling and new work tied to The Black Dog and the Wandering Boy, a 10 song collection co produced with Don Dixon for New West Records. The album draws on family history and sharp character studies, and features contributions from Sarah Jarosz, Charlie Sexton, Bonnie Whitmore, and Bukka Allen alongside his longtime bandmates Cornbread on bass, Tim Holt on guitar, and Daren Hess on drums, with BettySoo adding vocals on the record. Known for commanding live sets, McMurtry delivers songs that balance humor and heart for an evening of richly detailed songs at The State Room.

Bartender and hostess Kymberley Miller Massé oversees the front bar, and the kitchen will be open with Maelei Johnson. Arrive and settle in, then enjoy 30 minutes of breath-focused yoga, followed by 30 minutes of upbeat dance, and finish with 30 minutes of lightly guided conversation circles that make meeting others easy and fun. No experience is required and all levels are welcome. Bring a yoga mat and water, wear comfortable stretchy clothing, and bring a positive vibe. This is a free event. An S&S presentation, Puppeteers for Fears brings Robopocalypse: The Musical, a rock and roll puppet production rooted in horror and science fiction. This Oregon-based comedy troupe creates original musicals performed with puppets. The company began as a single-night Halloween cabaret in 2015, then continued as members expanded the project into an ongoing endeavor. Since then, they have written and performed roughly half a dozen original rock and roll shows that span supernatural creatures, killer robots, and lonely sasquatches, selling out venues across the country with a blend of puppetry, video, and live music. The performance is seated.

Dance Nights returns to the Gallivan Center plaza in Salt Lake City with Tuesday night sessions running all summer from June through September. The 2026 season brings an expanded schedule, new bands, and a few fresh dance styles, offering a lively lineup throughout the summer.
