Volunteers come together to assemble Care Sack lunches and Care Snack bags, along with other tasks, at Immanuel Lutheran Church near McCosh Park. Enter through the fellowship and kitchen doors to the right of the main entrance, and look for the Care van behind the building. The activity welcomes all ages and typically takes less than an hour. Those who cannot participate in person can support by organizing a food drive to gather needed supplies.

Learn acrylic pouring with a special focus on the swipe technique in this hands-on class held in the Museum Classroom. Instructor Bee Iverson will guide participants through the fundamentals of fluid art, encourage creative color exploration, and help everyone complete two original abstract pieces. Beginners are welcome, and those who have taken a previous acrylic pouring class will explore a new method. Materials are included, and the process can be messy. Open to ages 13 through adult. The fee is $15. Enrollment is capped at 12 participants, with a minimum of 4 required. If the minimum is not reached, the class will be canceled two days in advance.
