Night of Hope Gala raises funds for the Tri-Cities Men's Campus program. As the largest annual fundraising event, it celebrates freedom from addiction and builds support for students in a residential recovery program. The evening includes testimonies from program graduates, both silent and live auctions, a dessert dash, and a catered dinner.

2D Canvas Art Class with Kitty Lee

Explore the basics of 2D art in a welcoming class led by instructor Kitty Lee. Designed with beginners in mind, this project-based session includes all necessary supplies. The class is hosted at Alley Kat Artisans.

Needle Felting Seascape Class

Explore needle felting with a guided seascape project at Art YOUR WAY. Instructors provide step-by-step help as participants create the design, and tickets are $60 per person. Drawing From Observation

At Uptown Shopping Center, this four week class focuses on drawing from observation, beginning with core skills and building solid habits on the page. Sutra Saturday with Jennifer

Jennifer leads an all-levels yoga class at Lifted Lotus Yoga that weaves Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras into a mindful practice. It begins with 15 minutes of reading and reflection to explore the philosophy, continues with 30 minutes of movement with modifications for every level, and concludes with 15 minutes of open discussion on applying the Sutras to practice and daily life. As part of a nationwide YMCA initiative, the day emphasizes building healthy habits for kids and families by encouraging active play and nurturing a lasting love of physical activity. Seed Paper Workshop

A hands-on, Earth Day inspired session at FrogPatch guides participants in crafting plantable seed paper that helps keep garden seeds from drifting in the Tri-Cities wind. At CG Public House and Catering, participants will create a wine bottle wind chime in a guided craft class that welcomes all skill levels. Instruction is step by step, and personal touches are encouraged so each piece feels unique. The cost is $35, and space is limited to keep the experience hands on and comfortable. Pressed Flowers Cake Building Class with Layered

Bring your own scissors of about six inches that can cut fabric, paper, and fusible materials. Inland Empire Century Bike Ride 2026

2026 International Vet MX Round 3 - Horn Rapids MX

International Vet MX Round 3 brings a full weekend of motocross action to HRMC, Horn Rapids Motorsports Complex. Hundreds of riders and their families travel from across the region, including participants from Arizona, Washington, and Edmonton in Canada. The schedule includes practice on Friday, with racing on Saturday and Sunday. Riders receive generous track time with 10 to 15 minute practice sessions and 15 to 22 minute motos, three on Saturday and two on Sunday. Classes are organized by age and by ability, with Novice and Intermediate options, an Under 30 category, and several support classes for family members who want to take part. Competition emphasizes clean racing, and the days wrap up with food and bench racing after the on-track sessions.

This family-friendly event celebrates Indigenous joy from Turtle Island to Palestine. Activities include dancing and music. Spend 2.5 hours in a hands-on culinary workshop focused on crafting spinach and ricotta ravioli from start to finish. An instructor guides the process, covering how to develop supple pasta dough, assemble a flavorful filling, and finish the dish with a classic butter sauce. The format blends demonstration and participation, with most time devoted to instructor-led techniques, dedicated hands-on practice at the table, and a brief period of inactive time while dough rests and pasta cooks. Learn what gives pasta its tenderness by exploring gluten development and elasticity. Watch how a traditional spinach and ricotta filling comes together with aromatics like nutmeg and garlic. Use a pasta machine to roll thin sheets, then practice professional spacing, sealing, and cutting methods to prevent bursting. See how a brown butter sauce with sage and garlic is made to complement your handmade ravioli. The session begins with a 15 minute welcome that includes access to snacks and beverages, then moves into a 15 minute dough demonstration on kneading, resting, and flour selection. A 30 minute filling demo follows, covering wilting fresh spinach and blending it with ricotta and specialty cheeses. After a 10 minute break for a stretch and beverage refill, students spend about 50 minutes rolling, filling, and sealing uniform squares. The class wraps with a 30 minute sauce demonstration and service, where the pasta is cooked and enjoyed tossed in a fresh sage butter sauce. Amenities include a refreshment counter with house-made non-alcoholic drinks, charcuterie and fruit skewers, a dessert, and a Keurig coffee station. Aprons and all necessary tools are provided, and every participant receives the recipes to recreate the dish at home. A full plate of the prepared ravioli is served to each student. Tickets are non-refundable and may be transferred to another person but not to a different class. Doors open 10 minutes before the scheduled start, and those hoping to sit together are encouraged to arrive when doors open since seating cannot be guaranteed. Self Defense Series: Strength without Struggle

PFLAG BF is hosting a free self defense series for the LGBTQ+ community at Beartooth Aikido Studio, welcoming newcomers as well as those returning to build on skills from earlier sessions. The focus is on practical responses to confrontation so participants feel more prepared. Safety 101 offers an introduction to navigating both physical and emotional conflict through the lens of Aikido. This Japanese martial art, founded by Morihei Ueshiba in the early 20th century, emphasizes care for the people around you, your training partners, and yourself. Expect to practice relaxation methods for stressful moments, become more comfortable with close personal space, learn basic ways to avoid being struck, and explore beginner friendly rolling. Wear loose, comfortable clothing such as a T-shirt or sweatshirt with sweatpants, limit jewelry that sticks out to reduce the chance of scratches or injuries, and bring your preferred hydration. Shoes are not worn on the mats, socks or bare feet are fine. Participants are asked to register in advance and complete the online release form before the seminar. A walk led by WSU Master Gardeners explores the Demonstration Garden with a focus on how time in the garden can support mental well-being. The program takes place in the Waterfall Classroom at the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden. It is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. 2026 Northwest Carving Academy

The Northwest Carving Academy is a carving event that provides instruction on hand and power carving. Held at the Kittitas Valley Event Center in Ellensburg, Washington, the academy showcases some of the finest woodcarving instructors in North America. The event includes vendors, an ice cream social, and a talent show.
