Cascade InnMeet Me at the Movies
At The Kiggins Theatre, a dementia-friendly presentation features The Beatles’ A Hard Day’s Night, tailored for people living with dementia and their care partners. The 1964 film buzzes with energy as John, Paul, George, and Ringo race through a single hectic day of rehearsals, fan run-ins, and lighthearted trouble, all underscored by the music that made them icons. The experience prioritizes comfort, with house lights gently raised, softer sound, and a welcoming environment where viewers can relax and enjoy the movie without judgment.
The Kiggins TheatreWashougal Community Market
At Reflection Plaza, Washougal Community Market brings together small businesses, artisans, authors, musicians, bakers, and food vendors in a weekly summer marketplace where visitors can explore local creations and connect with community members. This pilot program aligns with the City’s goal of cultivating a lively town center and gathers feedback to help assess whether a permanent, recurring market is feasible. For this date, the music lineup features Swing & Standards Band, and the author schedule lists Carly Major.
