Kids Beginner Kung Fu with Paco Camas
Led by Sifu Paco, this ongoing kung fu class builds confidence, focus, discipline, and strength while teaching hard work and responsibility. Instruction emphasizes respect, self-discipline, honor, and integrity, helping students sharpen their thinking and attention. Sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Camas Community Center. A first class is free for newcomers. Tuition is $65 per month or $180 for three months. For more information, call 360-834-5307. The aim is for students to grow more confident, disciplined, and attentive while having fun.
Camas Community Center*JOIN TODAY* Copper Foil Club!
Take the next step after the Beginner Series with an intermediate stained glass class that offers more freedom, added complexity, and a more engaging experience without the need for a full studio at home. Work on larger or more intricate pieces, including square panels, in a bigger, brighter classroom at Melt Glass Art Supply. The flexible format lets you purchase single sessions or choose a discounted bundle of four, and you can use sessions as your schedule allows without needing to attend consecutive sessions. Each visit includes access to hand tools, glass cutters, soldering irons, spacious work areas with cutting mats and soldering surfaces, a wet room for cleaning, grinders, a flat lap grinder, a ring saw, a strip cutter, a zinc cutter, and a lead stretcher, along with flux, patinas, cleaners, polish, copper foil, solder, lead or zinc border came, and hangers. Instruction is provided during every session to support steady progress on your project.
Social Mixer with our TEAM
Rooted in the TEAM Referral Network community, this social mixer brings together entrepreneurs who prioritize relationship marketing and the power of referrals. It offers a welcoming setting to connect, exchange insights, and build trust that supports business growth for all involved. The focus is on collaboration, diverse perspectives, and working together so everyone benefits.
Networking at Méraki Collective
Now in its second installment, this networking session introduces updates shaped by participant feedback and follows a structured format designed to encourage intentional, supportive, and collaborative connections. Nonalcoholic mocktails from a local woman-owned business will be available on a sliding scale of $5 to $10, with options that include your choice of adaptogen. A live guitar cue will signal when the program is about to begin. The organizers are seeking 2 to 3 vendors for a free vending opportunity, with the expectation that vendors also participate in the networking activities; additional instructions are outlined in the event listing. The previous gathering received positive feedback, and this continuation builds on that momentum.
